ENDING WITH GANGS
At
these moments, our society is suffering from a plague of growing proportions,
that is becoming harder and more difficult to combat.
Of course we are not referring to any physical-biological plague but to
GANG groups, which its sole intention is synonymous
with trouble and destruction!
Gangs
are groups of wrongly raised youngsters, that have no respect not even for
their own families, let alone to, peers or society.
To justify their bad behavior and actions, these youngsters, usually use
pre-established excuses like: “they’re not understood, don’t have established homes, have a bad family relationship, nobody loves them, etc.”
Their objective is to join these violent groups of gangs, and blame it on
somebody else! That is not
fair!
Unfortunately,
those without-foundation excuses had been backed up and supported by some bad
professionals so called “Psychologists and Lawyers," together with
several Communication Media, and Groups of people of weak thinking, that don’t want to face the
reality of the damage they are causing because of their blindness.
This
direct or indirect support, makes these youngsters feel like their actions are
not their fault, but society or somebody else’s…
We must say with a strong voice, that this is not the way it is! The truth
is that, NO ONE IS AT FAULT FOR THE BEHAVIOR OF OTHERS.
We all are what we want to be! And
to this end, there is no turning of the page!
Why is that we blame others each time we commit some fault
or mistake? Why don’t we have the
integrity, to accept and remedy whatever we do wrong?
If
we care about youth and humanity, we should take more seriously and responsible
this problem of gangs. We must
understand that, GANGS are the seed ground where drug-addicts thieves and
criminals are born. And obviously,
those dangerous devil actions are going to lead them directly to any of the
following three places:
Hospital
Jail
The
grave
Aren’t
youngsters aware of the dangers and consequences of getting into gangs?
Can't they see how others have ended in a sad manner, like being
abandoned by their families, converted to “human waste” thrown out on the
street, crazy, sick, and dead? It is not enough to realize the wrong of this path?
Is it necessary to put your hands into fire to know that it burns?
In
addition, the wrong paths they take, not only endanger themselves but
also, directly affect and denigrate the life of their family members and peers.
Indirectly, society in general has to pay and suffer the consequences
because of their blemish. And, how
about the inheritance they are going to leave to their own children?
Why
not understand that, no one has the right to disrupt the life, liberty and
peace of others! Can these
youngsters realize the pain they cause to their family members?
Can they replace and heal the tears of the most sublime being on
earth…Mother? Can they re-pay all
the hurt and damage they’ve made to society?
Of course not! What a disgrace!
The
worst part in this scenery is that, before this unfortunate situation of gangs
on the rise, we usually respond with ignorant irony and irresponsible despair,
saying that everything is ok! Why?
Don’t we care about our children’s future?
We cannot conceive a world where nobody cares about anybody, where nobody
can have a peaceful life, and where children have no future!
We
think it's time where we should all start focusing in this problem of gangs, to
seriously and decidedly attack it, so it can gradually be reduced, until it
completely disappears. Especially, we as parents consciously and responsibly,
must start implementing more discipline and care in the raising of our children.
Youngsters, if you want to feel “cool,” don’t do what a looser does…that is, going into gangs or drugs, you better show your family and other people, that you are capable to use your life for really cool and great things.
We’ve always
been complaining about the bad inheritance left by our ancestors, but
what kind of inheritance are we leaving to our generation?
And this new generation, what inheritance will leave to theirs, and so
on? It appears like a never-ending
cycle…each generation waiting
for the next to change… Why wait
for others to change? Why
don’t we start changing now for the better?
